This Cookie Policy explains how Trillions Odor uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) on trillionsodor.com. It explains what we use, why, and how you can control it.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. “Local storage” works in a similar way, storing information directly in your browser. Both help a website remember you and keep things working.
2. Cookies and storage we use
We keep tracking to a minimum. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or social media embeds.
- Shopping basket (essential, local storage): we store your basket contents in your browser’s local storage so you can return to your selected products. This data stays on your device and is not sent anywhere until you check out.
- Cookie consent (essential, local storage): we remember that you have seen and dismissed our cookie banner so we don’t show it again.
Because we only use essential storage to make the store function, no non-essential cookies are set without your involvement. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and seek your consent first.
3. Third parties
Our payment provider, Stripe, may set its own cookies on its secure checkout pages to process your payment and prevent fraud. These are governed by Stripe’s own privacy policy. We do not control these cookies.
4. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Note that clearing local storage will empty your shopping basket. Most browsers let you manage storage under “Settings > Privacy” or “Site data”.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if our use of cookies changes. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last revised.
